Thirty-two weeks

How far along? Thirty-two weeks - 3/25/11

How big is baby?
 A jicama?
Crunchy.

Next appointment: March 29th.

Symptoms: My blood pressure has been pretty low this week (last check was 90/55), so it's made for some not-so-great days. It's pretty common for me to be low, but I feel it so much more intensely when I'm pregnant. That, accompanied by the anemia, is making me pretty darn droopy.

Reflections on this week: We've had a fairly normal week, thank goodness. I don't need too many things messing up our routine right now. I'm tired! We hired a man to come out and trim our huge oak trees a little, and the kids really enjoyed watching him climb up and down and use his chainsaw. In other news, I think our little Nick-Nick might finally be potty trained! This is a huge accomplishment, as we've been working on it for almost a year! We'll see if he keeps it up!
What I'm looking forward to: I'm having a Scentsy party for a friend on Friday night, and I'm excited about getting to visit with adults and have a fun evening (and shop!). Other than that, my plan is just to try and rest as much as possible. Mom and I toyed with the idea of taking the kids somewhere on Saturday (zoo?), but we'll see how it goes.

I'm not looking forward to my next appointment, where I'll most likely be reprimanded for my failure to come in and do the glucose test. I just didn't have time to do it this week, and I wanted to check on the financial end of all that before I was committed to doing it. Maybe I can just avoid it. We'll see what they say on Tuesday!

More about baby: Baby weighs about 3.75 pounds and is roughly 16.7 inches long. She'll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb. She now has toenails, fingernails, and hair. Wonder if we'll finally get a brunette?
